IPL is a gas discharge lamp filled with an inert gas (usually gas or ammonia) used to generate pulsed radiation. IPL is an acronym for Intense Pulsed Light, IPL hair removal is achieved by applying intense pulsed light to the hair root or follicle, disrupting the hair growth cycle and causing hair removal.
